Applications and resumes will be accepted throughout the year and held for openings in teaching and staff positions as needed. Candidates for charter school teaching positions must have at least a bachelor's degree and either a Montessori preprimary or elementary credential and must be willing to obtain a Florida elementary certification. Applicants with a state certification and with a Montessori preprimary credential must be willing to earn a Montessori elementary credential. The minimum requirement for assistant teachers is an AA degree, but a bachelor's degree is preferable. Assistant teachers must also be willing to complete Montessori elementary training. All lead teacher candidates for the preschool program must possess at least a bachelor's degree and have earned or be working toward a Montessori preprimary credential. Applicants must be willing to obtain the necessary preschool state certification. Candidates for assistant teacher possessing a bachelor's degree, Montessori training or experience, or CDA certification will be given priority.
