Welcome to the 2008 school year. We had an exciting summer program and we are looking forward to seeing all of your smiling faces during our teacher/parent conferences. If you have forgotten your scheduled appointment or still need to schedule a conference please call me. During your conference all IVM preschool students are invited to join us. Please allow our students to have the spotlight on them and find other care for siblings during this school visit. This is a scheduled half hour time for you and our preschoolers to meet the staff and explore their learning environment. If you need to discuss or share more information with us than you are able to during this limited time I am happy to schedule a phone conference between you and the staff after your initial conference.
Please bring a set of labeled (your child’s name on the tags) set of clothes in a zip lock bag to leave here in your child's cubby: please include a solid colored t-shirt, shirts, sock and a pair of underwear. These items are kept at school in case a child spills something on their clothing while at school.
We have received several nap mats as donations over the summer, please inquire during your conference and we will be happy to loan your child one for rest time.
The first day of school is August 18, 2008. All children who are not enrolled in before care please arrive at 8:20, the children will enter their classroom environments promptly at 8:30AM. If additional time is needed for your travel to work children are welcome to arrive as early as 8 AM at no charge. If you need before care 7AM- 8 AM or after care 3-5:30 PM, please contact Lois at 484-0957 she will meet with you to complete documents and discuss fees.
