Bob Cloutier

Bob Cloutier joined the Island Village staff as a middle school science educator in 2006 after moving to Florida from New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in zoology and has worked for the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture and USDA as a regulatory inspector, was employed in the biotech industry, owned a dairy/beef farm as well as two other businesses, and taught in adult education.

Bob completed the requirements for professional Florida certification in general science, grades 5-9, at The State College of Florida in 2009, and he completed the introduction to Montessori philosophy and classroom management courses through the Montessori Live program. Having been a little league coach, involved with 4-H, and a former school photographer, Bob feels right at home at Island Village. Besides guiding the children through science education, leadership, gardening, and sports, he still has time to enjoy his family and play guitar.
