Bob Cloutier joined the Island Village staff as a Middle School science educator in 2006 after moving to Florida from New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Zoology and has worked for the New Hampshire Department of Agriculture and USDA as a regulatory inspector, was employed in the biotech industry, owned a dairy/beef farm as well as two other businesses, and taught in adult education. He has received Florida certification in General Science, Grades 5-9, and has begun Montessori training through the Montessori Live program. Having been a Little League coach, involved with 4-H, and a former school photographer, Bob feels right at home at Island Village. Besides guiding the children through their science education and the gardening program, he still has time to enjoy his family, swim, and play guitar. He has two grown sons, one recently married and living in North Carolina, and the other joining him in Florida soon.
