Ivonne Almanza is originally from Colombia and now resides in Venice. She has a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Bogota, Colombia. Before coming to the United States, Ivonne worked at a Montessori school in la Paz, B.C.S, Mexico. She taught in Latin America and the United States since 1996.

    Ivonne is certified in Florida K-12 Certification in Art and Spanish K-12. She continues to expand her art career through the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Ivonne teaches Spanish during the school day as well as after school. Ivonne is also a certified children’s yoga instructor.

    Ivonne continues to further her education by studying the Montessori curriculum with Montessori Live. Her son, now in high school, is an alumnus of IVMS.
