Lucy Ferris has worked at IVMS since 2005. She has 19 years of Montessori teaching experience. Lucy holds a bachelor of science in elementary education from the University of Maryland. She also holds an AMI primary Montessori teaching certificate from The Washington Montessori Institute. Lucy is Florida state certified in the area of prekindergarten/primary education. She is currently taking classes for her ESOL endorsement.

    Lucy was raised in Maryland outside of Washington, D.C. She has lived in Florida since 1994. Lucy loves the friendly people, warm weather and the beautiful beaches in Florida. In her free time, Lucy enjoys reading, painting, riding her bike, surfing,and walking on the beach.
