Yolanda Chona joined IVMS in 2006 at the Venice campus. This is her third year working as part of the Sarasota campus staff. Yolanda has a Florida K-6 teacher's certification and a B.A. in business from Indiana University. Yolanda has completed her AMS elementary I credential.

    She fell in love with Montessori methods while searching of an early childhood program for her son over ten years ago. Yolanda says,"I love coming to work because the students are my second family, and I sincerely appreciate the support that I receive from the IVMS faculty and staff. There is no place I would rather be."
